Content Management Systems ( CMSs )
Think of a CMS as the engine behind a website. These allow a website owner – with little or no technical knowledge – to edit and update website content, at a bare minimum.
We prefer to work with WordPress, although we have used other PHP-based open source systems.
With a CMS behind it, your website can include

Good CMSs give the ability to add almost unlimited functionality. More functionality is going to cost more.
Good CMSs are the ‘skeletons’ which give the ability to ‘skin’ a website however you choose. This is also a factor in cost. For example, a website using a ‘cookie-cutter’ template, and with small customisations,is going to be more budget-friendly than one with a full CMS engine behind it.
